Task1 - sample
When it comes to Japan, this country experienced an upward trend in the rate
of unemployment throughout the period. In 1993, the unemployed made up only 2.5% of the total work force,
which was about one third the
figure for the USA. However, from that time onwards, the unemployment rate increased markedly and also erratically, doubling to 2.5 in 1999
despite a fractional dip
towards 1996; ultimately, the figure had become comparable to that of America.
